The Church of the Three Hierarchs
We first used this hall on 18th November 2007. It had previously been used to house building supplies. It is in quite a state and will require a lick of paint and some TLC.
The first thing needed for our service is a workable icon screen. This is the first service with the structure in place, but unvarnished and without the doors or icons.
At our next service it was varnished, the doors were hung, but it is without icons.
Within a couple of weeks there were curtains and icon stands incorporated into the front. There are proper icons on order, the icons that you can see on the iconostasis are temporary.
Thanks to an anonymous donor of a very generous donation of 5 lovely and huge icons. The Theotokos and Pantocrator are amazing. They seem to glow.
